Good morning, sweet fruits! The sun is shining, the birds are singing... it's a wonderful day to get up and start the season properly. When you wake up, you're very quickly herded off the boat by a string of harried bunnies who are shouting about schedules and timing. You'll find the Fruit Hosts (Lemon, Lime, and L'orange) have come down to the beach to greet you, and lead you to your brand new home! Why don't you check it out? While you know that there's a lot in store this week (such as an event on Wednesday and a mysterious all-day broadcasting scheduled for Saturday), until then? You're free to live your life. Explore your new locations, get to know your team (including your team leaders!) and get used to the feeling of being watched at all times. The only place you're safe from cameras are in your team bedrooms and in the bathrooms. Remember that. Or perhaps you do want to be in front of the cameras? Well, have no fear. The Confessional has arrived. Located in the mansion, this little slice of reality tv is there for all contestants to really get juicy. Check out the page for how it all works. Hmm... but after the initial excitement of moving into your lounge and new home fades, you'll find that you feel sort of itchy and scratchy. There's someone on your mind, right? Someone special. And it's not necessarily romantic (though it could be if you're brave enough), but you are drawn to this person intrinsically - you want to hang out with them basically forever. Almost as if a red string connects your fates.

A NEW CHALLENGE APPROACHES

Whoa, remember that thing we said about twists? Well, here's one for you. It's red string week! This effect means that your character and another are intrinsically linked. You want to be next to them at all times. You want to talk to them. Hold their hand. Cuddle and hug and spend soooo much time with them. Well, in a purely platonic way of course. This doesn't mean that you have to be around each other 24/7, but the more time you spend away from each other — the stronger urge to see them again. How sweet? And how very awkward if you happen to be matched up to someone who's not on your team. Whoopsies.

Oh, I wasn't doubting Rawiyah! But what if I fall, myself? I can be kind of clumsy, you know...

Nobody would let you fall. [ He could deny that she's clumsy but he decides not to do that. ] But it's kinda impressive.

No one would on purpose. But you're right. I'm really impressed! It's just so cool to be this strong.

Yeah. [ A subtle look at his own arms. ] Is... that something you'd want?

[ Well don't CALL ATTENTION TO THAT. ]

Thanks, but that's—! [ He can't even say that's not entirely what he meant, so he sort of fumbles and prays Rawiyah is too drunk to notice they're having this conversation on either of her arms. ] You hear about it all the time, so I guess I was wondering. No big deal.

[ ...? ] Oh, okay...

[ ........ he would like to die, thank you. ]

... some of us were thinking about training, but maybe I won't have to.

Oh, Jumpy. Are you going to get really into working out just because we have this much free time? That's so funny.

[ Now he looks a little offended? He wasn't even really planning on it but wow. ]

No, of course not. I mean... would it be that weird even if I did? I could be muscular if I wanted.

I could. [ ... this is also a stupid argument and he realizes that a few minutes later. ]

... we really do have a lot of free time on our hands right now.

But you're already finding ways to fill it. You guys threw this party for everyone so fast.

Without knowing what's coming next, I think we wanted to make sure something good happened while we all had time. Maybe tomorrow's thing will be something that fills more time without us knowing.

Probably. I doubt they would make fliers for something that was only going to take ten minutes or something, you know?

Not unless somebody else had a lot of time on their hands. Plus the fliers had information for other days, too.

True... And our hosts do seem pretty... [ hmm. ] Free? So far?

Not that it's a bad thing, but it makes you wonder doesn't it? What's really missing?

If they can be this hands-off, it might just mean that things are set up to stay on the rails on their own. [ well. ] Or they're just doing a lot more work than we notice.

We won't know until we talk to them more, and even then... we may be at it for a while before we get anything concrete.

We'll just do it step by step, then. That's okay.
