Good morning, sweet fruits! The sun is shining, the birds are singing... it's a wonderful day to get up and start the season properly. When you wake up, you're very quickly herded off the boat by a string of harried bunnies who are shouting about schedules and timing. You'll find the Fruit Hosts (Lemon, Lime, and L'orange) have come down to the beach to greet you, and lead you to your brand new home! Why don't you check it out? While you know that there's a lot in store this week (such as an event on Wednesday and a mysterious all-day broadcasting scheduled for Saturday), until then? You're free to live your life. Explore your new locations, get to know your team (including your team leaders!) and get used to the feeling of being watched at all times. The only place you're safe from cameras are in your team bedrooms and in the bathrooms. Remember that. Or perhaps you do want to be in front of the cameras? Well, have no fear. The Confessional has arrived. Located in the mansion, this little slice of reality tv is there for all contestants to really get juicy. Check out the page for how it all works. Hmm... but after the initial excitement of moving into your lounge and new home fades, you'll find that you feel sort of itchy and scratchy. There's someone on your mind, right? Someone special. And it's not necessarily romantic (though it could be if you're brave enough), but you are drawn to this person intrinsically - you want to hang out with them basically forever. Almost as if a red string connects your fates.

A NEW CHALLENGE APPROACHES

Whoa, remember that thing we said about twists? Well, here's one for you. It's red string week! This effect means that your character and another are intrinsically linked. You want to be next to them at all times. You want to talk to them. Hold their hand. Cuddle and hug and spend soooo much time with them. Well, in a purely platonic way of course. This doesn't mean that you have to be around each other 24/7, but the more time you spend away from each other — the stronger urge to see them again. How sweet? And how very awkward if you happen to be matched up to someone who's not on your team. Whoopsies.

I know a couple of card tricks that might be fun at parties. [ grabby hands the cards. shuffles with dexterity despite his draping position. this is weird ]

[ Yeah that's weird. He thinks it's weird! He won't make it weird in public but! ]

You maybe want a table to spread out? [ He doesn't seem like he's going to throw him off, but that's because he's more impressed that the cat has better dexterity than he does. ]

Are there any left?

[ making a show of looking around how packed everything is... ]

[ He also looks because they really did cram 33 people into one lounge. ]

... okay, fair enough. Do your thing.

[ spreading out his cards in front of junpei ]

Alright then! Pick a card, any card!

Do I get to look at it, or just you?

[ He will obediently pick a card though. ]

Of course you do. No point if you dinnae know what you picked!

[ once junpei has looked at his card cait grabs it back and shuffles the deck again ... and then hands junpei the deck ]

Alright, pick out that card again.

[ but no matter how hard he looks ........ the card is MISSING!!! ]

Hey, you never know. [ He looks at his card and lets Cait shuffle them, but when he takes the deck he will start searching... whoa!! Mysteriously missing card!!! ]

Well, Cait, seems like I'm missing something here.

Dinnae tell me you've lost a card!

[ takes back the deck, shuffling through it himself... ]

Ach, now what'll we do with a 51 card deck? Near worthless that is. [ dramatically ponders ] Have ye checked in your pockets?

[ junpei will indeed... somehow find the card in his pants pockets ]

[ Cait Sith doing all of this on Junpei's shoulder like some weird monkey really is the most impressive part of this. He kind of figures where this is going, but he dutifully checks his pockets and pulls out the card. ]

Imagine that. [ It's such a dumb trick but it does make him grin nevertheless. ] Three cheers for the magic cat.

[ the climbing truly is the important part. parrot magic cat. he mock bows but like. only a little ]

Thank you, thank you. I'm far better with dice, but pulling the right card's an important part of fortune telling too!

[ his fortune telling has nothing to do with cards. ]

Doesn't your moogle print your fortunes though?

[ WHAT DO THE STARS HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING ]

Unless your moogle runs on gas, I don't know if the stars count either, man.

Yeah. Like... stars? They're made of hot gas.

[ look they probably know what stars are made out of in 7. i just think this is funny. ]

[ He now just looks like he's arguing with a cat and this is what he deserves. ]

A cat who knows all kinds of magic tricks. Not so sure there's an "only" about it.
